Building on the Lowcountry region's well-deserved reputation as a desirable place to live, work and play the Creative Industries Cluster is at the forefront of this emerging industry inspiring the development of new design and building techniques, restoration technologies and innovative products and materials.
This cluster has formed a leadership group called Charleston's Creative Parliament. Discussions and planning meetings determine how to build the right infrastructure for people in the creative class. The group has raised $15,000 for an economic impact study of the creative industry on the region, and will release the data this Fall.
